Garage Floor Paint Does Not Have to Peel
Many times homeowners use regular floor paint in an attempt to make their garage floors look more appealing. However, under normal use, floor paint will chip, and peel. Epoxy coatings on the other hand are durable, weather resistant, as well as oil resistant. The reason for this is that epoxy coatings, unlike paints, are a combination of two parts. When these two components are mixed, a chemical reaction occurs, changing them into a permanent solid so durable that water and most solvents have no effect on a sealed epoxy surface.
In addition, because of recent improvements in epoxy coatings, many architects are employing durable epoxy flooring in spaces other than the garage, such as in creating unbroken lines between the living room and deck or patio.
Instead of having to repaint every two years, consider coating your garage floor with durable and aesthetically pleasing epoxy coating.
